Epicurean - Amarone Wine Cask
This Lowland blended malt Scotch whisky is part of the Epicurean series, part of the Remarkable regional malts range from Douglas Laing, has been finished in a single amarone wine cask.
After initially maturing in traditional oak casks over a number of years, the spirit has been finished in a hand-selected, Single Amarone Wine Cask from the Valpolicella Region in Northern Italy.
The palate delivers those ginger and nutmeg notes, coupled with milk chocolate and running to a tangy raspberry finish.
The Epicurean Amarone Cask Finish Limited Edition is a brand-new release in our Epicurean “Wood Finish” series.
A single cask release of only 888 bottles, non chill filtered, natural colour and bottled at 48%abv.
